OUR REGENERATIVE RENEGADE RANCHERS & LOCATIONS

We source cattle from our Renegade Ranchers across 3 regions: Northeast, Midwest, and West. We feel it is very important to support local rural economies. We strive to source, process and sell our products in the regions where they originate. Our foremost goal is to regenerate (it’s not good enough to sustain!) as much land as possible across the U.S. Our Renegade Ranchers are the true super-heroes, independently making decisions that may sacrifice short-term profits to aim for a bigger effect in the long-term. Our hats off to them!

DEREK K - MONTANA

Derek and his family own a 12,000 acre ranch in Montana where they have been practicing holistic management for 30 years. They have learned how to improve rangeland by using proper grazing techniques and have learned how to coexist with the predators that live in these mountains.

SUSAN B - OKLAHOMA

Susan owns approximately 23,000 acres in OK and TX. She exclusively finishes 100% grassfed beef and along with selling to Thousand Hills, she markets a lot of her own beef in local grocery stores. Susan has her own composting plant and is at the forefront of regenerative agriculture in her area.

MATT M - MINNESOTA

Matt and his family have taken former row crop and CRP ground and have converted it to pasture to raise grassfed beef. Matt grazes about 600 acres of owned and leased land with about 120 cows and 120 finishers in Central Minnesota.

RENEGADE RANCHERS

Regenerative Renegade Ranchers have effectively implemented our holistic, regenerative land and grazing practices. They don’t use GMOs, glyphosate (Roundup), excessive tilling, etc. Instead, they regenerate topsoil, re-establish diverse grasslands, and always holistically graze and manage their cattle. They don’t follow the crowd. Instead, they swim upstream to understand the implications of their decisions. In short, they are making decisions to improve their land today and tomorrow for future generations. They know their title of ‘Land Steward’ carries a responsibility bigger than themselves.
